If you are interested in employment with the Sheriff’s Office, please download an application and submit to the Sheriff for future reference. To qualify to become a Sheriff’s Deputy you must:
Be a citizen of the United States
Be at least 21 years of age
Be a High School Graduate or have successfully completed a General Education Development (GED) examination
Possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle
Be fingerprinted for a criminal background check
Have not been convicted of a felony
Not have been prohibited by federal or state law from possessing a firearm
Have been discharged under honorable conditions if having served in the armed forces
Never had certification as a Peace Officer revoked in another state
